Modern traffic asks more of a fifty year old braking system than it was ever designed to give. This is a complete, engineered conversion rather than a box of loose parts, and it is designed to be reversible so the car can be returned to standard if you ever want to.

Two honest cautions. First, check wheel clearance before you buy: many of these kits will not fit inside a 13 inch wheel and some need a spacer. Tell us your wheel size and we will confirm. Second, changing the front brakes alone alters the front to rear balance, so plan to refresh the rear shoes or fit an adjustable proportioning valve at the same time. Notify your insurer, since this is a modification.
