Gearboxes and Overdrives
Reconditioned gearboxes, overdrive units and axle assemblies. Boxes are stripped completely, with new bearings, seals and synchromesh throughout, and the layshaft and needle rollers renewed as standard since that is where most of the noise comes from.
Overdrives get a new pump plunger, clutch lining and seals, and are pressure tested on the rig. Axles are set up with a dial gauge and the backlash and contact pattern recorded on a sheet supplied with the unit.
