Bumpers are the first thing anyone sees and pitted chrome spoils an otherwise good car. These are new pressings, triple plated in copper, nickel and chrome, which is what gives depth to the reflection and what cheap single plated bumpers lack.

A word on handling. Chrome marks easily and fingerprints etch it over time, so fit them wearing clean gloves and do not rest them face down on a bench. If the mounting points on the car are rusty, deal with those first. Bolting new chrome to a corroded bracket is a false economy that shows within a winter.
