Abingdon Trim Complete Interior Trim Kit for Volkswagen Beetle 1950 to 1979

Trim is what makes a restored car feel finished rather than merely repaired. These kits are cut from patterns taken off original interiors and made up in the correct grain and weave, so the result looks like the car left the factory rather than like a re trim.

• Seat covers in the correct grain vinyl, with hand stitched piping and the original flute spacing
• Door cards on waterproof board with the correct pattern and fixing positions
• Moulded carpet set in the original weave, latex backed, with heel pad and bound edges
• Headlining with the correct listing rod pockets

• Fitting clips, hog rings and adhesive supplied

Fitting advice. Trim goes on far more easily warm, so leave the covers somewhere heated overnight or put them in the sun for an hour before you start. Work from the centre outwards, and do not trim any excess until the whole panel is sitting flat. If the seat foam has collapsed, replace it first; a new cover over tired foam looks wrong within a month.
